ive recently aquired a airbrush gun and ive never used one before but it has paint all dried in it, do i have to use some sort of paint thiner to clean it?

Iwata is more protective of their teflon parts. Distilled water, not tap water. Also, blowing air through a gun is similar to a trumpet. You get both spit and condensation. This approach is quick and somewhat dirty.

@blues4never IM not spitting in the gun? IM blowing air through it, tap water is harmless to your airbrush gun, I use these guns everyday for at least 6 hrs of spraying, for over 8 years,,,they are still in perfect condition.

i accidentaly removed my trigger and this lil piece of metal like strip is moving abt in the gun help:P how to i fix this?

send me a picture in an email attachment so i can see exactly what piece,is it an iwata,,maybe its the back tail piece shifted upward,,is it a spring ?

sorry to say cheap airbrushes are garbage unless you buy in bulk from the internet,,i love iwata brands,,not a fan of pasche,,eclipse should only cost you like 130? i think i dont remember,,they sell thinner for the brand name of each acrylic you use,,dont use water,,use extender,,hope this helps you,,natalie
