2009 Cadillac CTS-V Interior - Instant Impression

The Cadillac CTS already has a beautiful interior, but for the high-end version of the car, GM took the extra effort to step up some of the materials, giving it the extra polish worthy of a V.

Don't get me wrong, this seems like a decent car if speed and torque is all that matters, but for the past decade it is as if Cadillac some how had a nervous break down and started to forget its roots to become some sort of wannabe exotic Euro, JAP boy racer race car thing, when all it does is give the vibe of a Pontiac Vibe--pardon the pun, but what next NOS compatibility. LOL. Who is Cadillac Competing against Mercedes Benz, BMW or Chargers,Cameros, and Mustangs. The Allante had more class

I would still take a Caddy from the late 70's to early 90's with the old school shinny plastic steering with the fake wood grain trim, but so easy to steer that you could do it with your pinky finger. Why can't Cadillac make at least a few cars in its fleet to have names worthy of the luxury of the Brougham, D'Elegance, Talisman, etc. Don't get me wrong this is a nice car but built with a completely different philosophy of the generations of Cadillacs before it.
