Two sides to every story have never been better illustrated than in this clip from Everybody Loves Raymond. Mentalising lesson: we tend to think theres only one version of events (ours, obviously), that others involved experienced and still see it in this way. This is especially likely when were in a right old state, exactly when the need for imagining the situation from the other persons perspective would be most helpful but is most elusive.

I'm more inclined to believe Ray's version. Debra's always been grouchy and condescending. I'm willing to bet that Ray wasn't as jovial as he tried to make himself appear, though.

I love the part when Frank says "it's your job" to Marie and Ray starts jumping swinging his arms trying to cheer on Frank. were can I find that part?

@CheesyGranola lol, it's most likely that the truth is a mix of the two. I've never seen Debra put her feet on the table... it would mean she'd have more mess to wipe up... or Ray ever being THAT interested in her. hehe

I love all the characters except Marie and Debra why do they fight all the time they are such bitches screw them Raymond is always right even if he is stupid sometimes
