The question is not what you can cook in a pie iron but...what can't you cook in a pie iron...i love pie irons.

@floor121 We do not work for the Rome, we just like their products. We use them often when we are outdoors and have never been let down by them.

I wanted to include a question on my last comment but I ran out of "comment" space.
My question is...I noticed you carry sheath knives. What kind of knives do you carry the majority of the time and why do you like them in particular?

@Trekker57 We both carry a large Ka-Bar bowie knife as well as a smaller Mora Clipper knife.

Just an update to my previous comments...I purchased some Rome pie irons based upon your video presentations. At the end of April, my son-in-law and I went camping near Pescadero, Ca(I live in Modesto). and had our first experience cooking this breakfast muffin sandwich. It came out fantastic. What impressed me the most was how golden brown the english muffins turned out by using these irons. I owe my first time success to you for producing such a clear and informative "how to" video.
