@tsaketh are you serious? the hunting is naturally implemeted in their blood.. I'm sure the owners of this dog has correctly raised it to become an independent and good dog.

man for the size of these dogs they are soooo fast, ours is 5 years old and still catches hares and rabbits and caches the odd possum they love to run loose in open areas we take ours to a friends farm and he loves it !!

looks a game dog, perhaps you should get it out with some dog men, they could get your dog working properly, foxes etc, might make a good bushing dog but it seems to be a stalker and not insane like a spaniel
