Dire Beef, a World of Warcraft guild on the Dark Iron US server, tackles Void Reaver in Tempest Keep using a somewhat different method...
We start off by sending two hunters to the outer ring, when we start they run opposite of each other around the room drawing the arcane bombs away from the rest of the raid...which dps's and heals from under his feet. Now this method is rough on healers, however we stack the deck using a dedicated healer group containing 3 resto shamans a holy priest and a shadow priest. The shamans use stackable totems and they all heal through the ground pounds with no trouble.
The main things to keep in mind with this technique are to ensure everyone but three tanks (and the two hunters, though one can do the job as well) are directly behind VR at all times. Have plenty of heals and mana regen to push through the ground pound damage (arcane resist gear helps here). Have the hunters keep misdirect up on the tanks as needed using whatever attacks they can do while moving, stopping = hunter death. Have all raid DPSers keep their eyes on their threat and do NOT exceed the tanks.
This video is in real time, so you'll see we get him down well before the enrage timer, as long as you have the area heals and mana to do it this way, I'd say it's by far the least difficult.

Indeed, we like to have at least 3 AoE healers, either resto shamans or CoH spec priest. Great to have a few shamans together though, with multiple Mana Tides, Mana Totems and stackable Healing Totems it helps keep the healers strong. We like to stick a shadow priest in the group to...mana battery ftw.

It was a guild run so of course we had it on Master Loot. We use a very laid back DKP system for progression run loot dispersal. 1 point gained per boss, 5 for a new boss, various bonus points may be awarded to the raid if the leader deems it necessary/warranted. People bid however many points they wish to for items, highest bidder wins though they will sometimes pass voluntarily if they outbid or tied with someone who needs the item more. That's how we roll in Dire Beef.
