Pepper MaShay with the Laptop Disco Orchestra "Dancing Lights (Disco Remix)

My submission for a remix contest. Anyhow, I stayed true to the disco sound and I really liked it. I thought it was pretty good but did'nt even get honorable mention. The winners at competitions sound much more current and retro mixes like this never do well. Anyhow, I hope the disco fans out there will like it as much as I do.

@abracacoc Thank you abracacoc, I have noticed a lot more music coming around lately that sounds sort of like this. When Whitney Houston had her big hit last year I didn't know at first she was singing over an instrumental recording from 1977.

You might think this sounds retro, but actually there is a lot of funk house and lounch made these days that have this feel and similar sound. You are not as retro as you seem to think, and those in that contest were probable too narrowminded if were only interested in hardcore afterhours house and electro. I quite like your track.
