@MrGerolf If I remember correctly you'e right it was initially being based on the build engine albeit majorly modified, however I do believe sometime in 97 or 96 they started developing their own engine internally however obviously they hit a few bumps a long the way and ended up postponing it until years later they rebooted it and got Human Head to develop it on top of the Doom 3 engine. I think this was originally to be on the Build engine. on my VERY old version of DN3D, it had a folder called "GOODIES" which had "PREVIEWS" IIRC... anyways, there was early screenies of Blood (Still had beast hands, and beta weapons) and Prey. It had a text file with it, and I think it said it was on the BUILD engine. The screenshots were nothing good though. Just very dark, pics of rooms. No enemies or weapons, anything. I'll have to check again.
