Supposed to be shoulder width in between the feets approximately.

But it must be sligthly different from person to person. This is the width where I feel most rooted in kata/kihon/kumite.

Yes, I have seen the video of your sensei. He is pretty good also. There are small differences in the way your sensei performes the Wansu kata compared to the perfomer shown here in this video.

Although I have practised Shotokan karate and know very little of Isshinryu karate, I must say the performer of this kata, performs this kata very well. Better than the other Isshinryu wansu kata performers I have seen on Youtube.
