kevin started wrestling barefoot because before his first match the other wrestlers hid his boots. So he just wrestled barefoot and liked it so he continued to wrestle barefoot.

@yonkeykong1988 it was some big show in Texas and it was setup with two rings for a special 12 man 4 team tagteam match. Kevin and Flair just happened to get into the other right through the flow of their match.
