Faced with reduced budgets, Sultan (Washington) decided to deploy Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 Academic http://www.microsoft.com/education/en... which enables multiple students, each with their own independent and familiar Windows experience, to share one computer simultaneously. With Windows MultiPoint Server, the school district was able to provide a Windows 7 environment and Microsoft Office 2010 for its students, while reducing the number of workstations in its labs by 60 percent.
