The Republican Jewish Coalition has launched a significant issue advocacy effort in Pennsylvania to highlight the very troubling record of Congressman Joe Sestak on Israel and other issues of concern to the Jewish community.

Our first television ad, entitled "Rockets," highlights the fact that Joe Sestak was one of the "Gaza 54" -- a group of 54 Democrats who signed a letter to President Obama, urging him to pressure Israel to ease its security restrictions on the border of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip at a time when innocent Israeli civilians were still under attack from missiles being launched from Gaza.

RJC Executive Director Matthew Brooks said the following: "The RJC is launching this major issues advocacy effort in Pennsylvania because, like so many in the Jewish community, we are deeply troubled by the record of Congressman Joe Sestak when it comes to Israel."

  • He opposes Israrl? Good. I'm glad he is loyal to the US and not a foreign country.

  • Any candidate more concerned with Israel than the United States should move to Israel and good riddance!

  • Thanks for the new ad creating whole new wave of anti-Semitism, well deserved, I might add. Ugly Americans.

  • the point of this committee is to target Jewish voters into voting republican you dumb democratic terrorists. Its working more and more over the years have voted Republican.

  • Dude nobody cares about Israel give it up man.

  • Sestak is a strong supporter of Israel. As Sestak said "When my carrier battle group was ordered to the Persian Gulf from the Mediterranean, I left behind an Aegis cruiser tied into Israel's missile defense system to help defend her. When Israel was being denied our new littoral combat ships, I met with Israel's ambassador and her chief of naval operations and then worked to get her those ships. "

  • Garbage. Jews vote for Democratic candidates because, as even Bush-supporter Ed Koch stated clearly we should, they are philosophically aligned with core Jewish values rooted in Jewish law. The only Jews who don't are those who believe Bush's policies of invading Iraq, hugely increasing Iran's regional power and influence, and promoting premature elections in Lebanon and Gaza, elevating the political standing of Hezbolah and bringing Hamas to power, somehow were in Israel's interest.

  • @jsmagid Most Jews will vote any Democrat even the most anti Israel one because they have replaced Judaism with Libraelism a long time ago.

  • As usual, the RJC is once again demagoging Democratic legislators whose voting record on Israel is spotless and, as has been the case in every election between non-Jewish candidates for national office, the vast majority of Jews will see through the RJC's unethical attacks and vote for the Democratic candidate.
