Sadly, I got an e-mail from Ryosuke Jinno, marketing director of Brizo Interactive, wich now apparently has the rights over the Double Dragon franchise. He asked me to stop developing and distributing the game.
So, as promised in the splash screen, this is the end for Double Dragon Forever.

Anyway, if anyone feels unhappy with Brizo Interactive's decision, just tell them:

All I saw was two screen lengths of a level. Learn to use video editing software, play through the game and make a more excuiting medley. I'm not saying you're a bad programmer, but this, as a video, just isn't doing it for me.

On behalf of all double dragon fans I want to thank CLEBER DE MATOS for the entertainment he brought to us. This game has been even better than the original double dragons and I've enjoyed a lot. I've played like 100 times in two years. It is a pity that after waiting two years for the next release I find that is disabled. What a shame that a few people thinking for money, don't allow the progress of mankind and development of talent in this world. Thanks Cleber de Matos.

@clebercasali hey did you see that double dragon 2 remake for 360, it looks like ass. i wish there was someway that you can convince the developers to port this over to xbla in indie games section (you'll be getting crazy paid). out of all the remakes of double dragon that i witnessed, you sir did the best and truest remake of double dragon. you deserve a medal

Actually, Brizo interactive has the permission of Million Corp, the actual right holders of technos japan's former games, but sadly they are just another evil company that just wants money. And actaully, i hate that they do remakes of the first one, what about remakes of 2 and 3??? what about a so waited sequel?? they all think in the first one.

Sucks they stopped you and what makes it worse is it's not like they're even doing anything with the franchise! Apart from the GBA version there really hasn't been a good Double Dragon since #2. Man those fucking stupid assholes!
