As an Iran/Iraq war veteran, as a US patriot I support our troops and want them home safe with their families and loved ones. The situation is getting worse in Iraq. Hundreds of our troops are dying every month. While the Bush administration now points its guns at Iran and wants to do the same thing there as it has in Iraq, no one is talking about the veterans and their exhaustion from their tours. Not enough people are concerned about their terrible conditions there, their depression and despair. And not enough people are speaking up about the lack of support and compensation as our troops return here to the US. It is Vietnam all over again and we are so tied up worrying about Iraq's policy or Iran's Nuclear plants that we have forgotten to pay attention to our own soldiers coming home from the war... Or the families of the ones that are not lucky enough to make it back...

This video is NOT a statement... it is how I feel! I want our US troops out of the middle east and back home safe! Isn't it time Americans take back their government and say enough is enough?!

  • @DsrtWolf Sir you are a person of high prestige and honor. I would ignore the imbeciles here on you tube.

  • @MultiPatriotism I fought against Iraq when I was 13 and held my best friend as he died right in my arms after being shot. I do not work for DOD, I am with the National Defense Corps big difference. And apparently you do not pay attention to the message or you would not post this. In any case, one thing I learned long ago is before I just say anything... is to ask, weight facts then bother to post something.

  • It's not whether you believe in the war or not. War at any level is a terrible thing. But sometime it is necessary. These young men and women made a choice to do something, to make a difference. It's not for us to judge them for there rights and there beliefs. Honor that choice or beliefs. I've seen more bodies, more hate than I care too. The video is about the men and women that made a choice. And how we can help the healing process, And I'm a VET.

  • I am an US Army veteran from the Viet Nam era. I agree. No one hates war more than those who have to fight it. Regardless of the reasons for war. I do and always will support our troops and thier families. The soldier, marine, sailor and airmen made a choice that they thought was right. Who am I to judge them. At least they made a choice to stand for what they believe in. And I'm very proud to be called a brother by them.

  • @sensinzen I have not heard of any man who has joined the military to rape and kill. I'm American and I dont hate people from other countries. Just thought I would say that because your comment sort of bothered me.

  • yes, we will pay the price loooooong after scumbag Nixon,( 1down!) Cheney ,Bush and Obamarama waltz of this feeble mortal coil....God...what will it take for Americans to STOP believing your scumbag leaders, and to STOP decimating the rest of us.Americans hate us foreigners, but...where do we go after you plunder our countries, rape our women and children, defecate on our god and lives. in all honesty, i cannot symphatise with the soldiers, they go to war to Rape and Kill...so dont cry after

  • That's what sickens me about the whole situation. It's been decades since a soldier has died for our freedoms. They're out there dying for our nation's willful ignorance of history and unwillingness to see our government for what it has become. All the while, the people pissing on our Constitution, our founding father's dreams, and the sacrifice of our soldiers are getting richer and richer. It's disgusting, and I'm tired of being called unpatriotic for calling our nation out on its faults.
