i post this only to show the dangers of wet drain covers, not to laugh at other peoples misfortune....honest ;)

I prefer not to take tight turns like that.

I'd be more likely to slow down, or take a primary position approaching the corner to create a wider radius for the turn.

That paint can be quite slippy sometimes especially when its been raining...poor fella hope he was okay.

@vousden It's a tricky turn for cyclists, as you have to pick between riding over wet paint, wet drain cover or squeezing between them. I bet this poor guy will slow down and squeeze between them next time!

Front wheel lost traction on the red paint. A painful lesson, you see it sometimes happen on the Tour de France.

@kievcyclist To a point maybe, but the paint he slipped on he would have to have gone over whether he was in the gutter zone or not.
