@laobansok I heard about ten thousands chinese are settled in Laos but the secret was leak the actual chinese people were resettled in Laos are more than 30 thousands. Laos does not need that kind of trade we need to think farther more for our new generations to come(be independent nation) not commit any obligation to any country in the world.we need to lead on any projects that offering to Laos we want HELP without any obligations at all and we know can survive on our own for many years to come

The statdium and other projects were built by Chinese even though 3000 workers were flown from china, we have laotion workers here are able to build the projects, wonder why Lao GOV. did not fight for our workers in Vientiane who needed jobs too. Lao gov chipped in $20M and $80 millions loan from chinese is needed to repay back to China. I think that kind of money we should borrow from World Bank(IMF) so we could do the projects ourselves. IMF banks are owned by many countries.

I wonder if it was true that in return for this project, the Chinese got Lao govt to agree to let a few thousands Chinese settled in Vientiane. Wouldn't surprise me if that actually happened, Lao govt is always been out-smarted by other govt.
