Are people seriously so confused by the actual release dates of this videos? Not only do I have half a brain to look the facts up. But I vividly remember watching this video as a kid in 98...So this Tarja whatever was not an influence to Madonna, Madonna was always the first for the current female archetype in popular music. As far as the subsidiaries of popular music goes...who cares? They are doing their thing, but please don't every think Madonna copied what is realistically a nobody.

Ok then, go look up Nightwish, SLEEPING SUN. Madonna has lasted as long as she has as a top tier player because she can adapt, and she is willing to learn, and she is willing to take from art where ever she finds it. Although I do not care for her illuminati ties; I do greatly respect the body of work she has produced. Few can claim her resume. As for Tarja.....well shes in a class to herself and a QUEEN OF METAL. Madonna is not the only one to recognize that.....KUDOS TO HER FOR IT!

how can she be influenced by that if frozen was released like 10 years before Tarja's album? The only thing that's similar between Tarja's music and this song is the use of strings; but frozen has big oriental influence, it sounds nothing like nightwish. As for the video, Madonna is playing the Morrigan.
