@aymansomara and u also believe that mohammed did not wage war against non muslims? the history you chose to beleive is only the islamist version. read a different book., and yes i know your version of the events but every other religion and non muslims all agree that muslims invaded and conqured them. this is clear from the commuications between the second caliphate and the last persian king.
@aymansomara Yup, I don't like Bernard Lewis only seeing the end results which were in fact the triumph of the resistance (of the Muslim community). He is somewhat prejudiced in his take on this matter.
"Mohammed was not persecuted": false. Prophet Mohammed and his followers were persecuted for 13 years in Mecca, before they migrated to Medina and established the Muslim state. This is a very well known fact.
Let me ask Christians a question, is the separation of the church and state an original value in Christianity or did it evolve over history? Was this separation there in the medieval ages?
