Wow, that's pretty cool. I watched the video at first and i was so bored..i didn't even notice the hood had lifted up!! lol it's so gradual. i had to move the circle to the beginning and move it with my mouse to actually watch something lol. Love your clownfish!

that video of the motorized hood on your aquarium looks sick man i never seen anything like that i understand the whole concept of having it so it provides better access instead of holding the hood where can i get parts to build my own motorized hood for my 80gal that im putting together?

I used a Linear Actuator with 18" throw on it. If you search for "Linear Actuator" on eBay you can find them for around $65
