I'm not really "keen" of Alton Brown. He's too... proud. Not sure if that's just how it is in the shows he's in, or he's like that for real.

The matches usually seems that it favors either the American cooks, or American dishes, or male chefs (at least that's what I gather from the shows I've seen). So you would usually see Flay wins against cooks who makes Asian dishes, Cora losing to male chefs, or Morimoto losing to Caucasians. I really find those trends in ICA quite... suspicious.

the real reason Kaga was Absent was because he had to go another taping in which confilcted with the iron chef taping. In which in turn Kaga 'boycotted'so he can make the other taping of a different show. So makes me wonder if these episodes have a storyline I haven't noticed when i was small.

@EonFigure If you followed the begining. Chairman Kaga was VERY disappointed over numerous losses of his Iron Chefs. He boycotted this battle as a sign of shame and disgust.

hattorisan is so cute. not having kaga is a shame, but it was funny to see hattori taking on that role.
