She did NOT need applause. She needed those in attendance to be utterly silent and sit for a while in pure reflection. To be honest with themselves. Those people heard NOTHING she said. As soon as she finished speaking, her words were forgotten. This is evident from the fucking useless applause, which, to me, proves that most people are more content with maintaining the status quo than they are to break cultural constraints and do what they know is RIGHT.

It's so sad how you brain washed this poor girl.
"Share with the needy" what nonesense, our governments tax the hell out of us, and then give to the government's of the needy, who just steal it.
This anti capitalist crap is even sicker coming from a poor child.
If you want to share with the needy, don't talk to theses useless bureaucrats. If you want to effect change:
#1 Start a business to create jobs & wealth in "needy" countries
#2 Distribute donations yourself, not via govt.

Amazing speech and such powerful words from the world of a child. If only the adult would take the time to consider what kids say and think sometime, the world might just be a better place.

Good speech, however im sure those sitting there don't even give a crap what a child has to offer. There's no point even to make yourself heard these days as nothing ever goes the right way.
