c'mon you guys.. the reason why it seems so boring is because it is a realistic depiction of a school shooting. we see things like this dramatized all the time in movies, where there's a storyline and emotion and sympathy and whatnot. gus van sant wanted to tell it how it is. the shooters don't need a backstory because it is unrealistic. like in real life, there is no resolution in this film; it just ends as cold and empty as it began.. such is life

Its funny how he explains it like a tutorial on how to start a school shooting. "You have a Tech 9 and a rifle, I have a shottie, some pistols and a knife. Theres enough explosives to last a day. Oh and most importently, have fun! =D" :S

The wigger Eminem kid was the worst part of this movie. I mean, most of the acting sucked already but that kid took the cake. Totally ruined it with his stupid speech to the principle during the shooting.

@checkkyou you know what the sad part about this comment is? It is 110% right. All we see in hollywood are what we want to see. This is a film that no one wants to see because this is all TOO realizitic. And if people are forced to see shit like this, it would force them to either change thier ways or edleast make them think about it...just sayin.
