He passed away in 2000 :( not sure what became of Darien Powers, Hoy's grey mount in the 2000 Olympics

Yes he was bred in ireland at coolmore thoroughbred stud by the magniers to race then turned into a eventer for there sons but was to much for them so Andrew took over the ride

I thought he was. He's definately an Irish bred horse, he's owned by Sue Magnier, and was sold down the road from me in Tattersalls, but I'm finding it hard to check his breeding. Definately moslty TB but on i've seen ISH after his name on a few sites which would suggest he is Irish Sport Horse! But I'm open for correction as its not clear.
