Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy's head hit the B-pillar.

Injury measures — Measures taken from the head, neck, and chest indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on the left tibia indicate that injuries to the lower leg would be possible. Head acceleration from the B-pillar hit was low.

not even close more like 45 mph this is one of the best crash test rated cars. It has won over 200 awards.

I crashed my 2005 ford focus into a guard rail doing 75 miles per hour. I walked away without a scratch. Both the guard rail, and the car saved my life. The focus is a very safe car, though it would be safer still if it had side curtain airbags.

I have a 2007 3 door - last year of this body style. Have been in some pretty nasty wrecks in it. The only injuries I sustained were due to loose stuff in the back seat slamming me in the back. Aside from that - amazing car. Car has been repaired each time. 82k miles so far. I love my focus and trust it to the ends of the earth.

i drove a ford focus 2000 and had a 55 mph car crash. i walked away with a minor cut on my right elbow. it saved my life while taking it's own... i will miss it :(
