George Galloway speaks to 2008 Beijing Olympic boycotter

A Talksport caller has openly stated that he will not watch the Olympic games in Beijing over the treatment of Tibetans by the Chinese government. George Galloway has challenged (as usual) the caller if he watched the 1996 games (in Atlanta not Los Angeles as Galloway claimed) and asked why was the caller more than happy to watch the 1996 games but is expressing his objections to the 2008 games.

The caller then goes off topic about GG swearing to the 'British constitution', to which there isn't a real one (like the US Constitution), only one really historic Constitution which promotes Protestant supremacy.

All in all, a caller who looks at the world in two different ways.

The point that Galloway is trying to make here which is patently obvious is its 'fashionable' to support Tibetans. Tibetan seperatism is no different (ideologically) from Basque seperatism, Catalonian Seperatism, or Northern Irish Seperatsim (all of which have resulted in violent conflict) in it that Tibetans do not regard themselves as Chinese. No great statement however about boycotting was made regarding British and Spanish products, and to this day there is no mass boycott of Israel. Why?
