oh god. I attended a Catholic high school and they made sure we made the obligatory sophomore year trip to South Bend. It was expected for us to aspire to attend ND like all Catholics should. I was not impressed and as a black student I did not see or feel much diversity.

Believe me. Outside of Ivy League, attending anything other than state school for undergrad is a total waste.  Go Buckeyes! '05, '10.

@114015 - If you're in the top 5% of your class with a 30+ ACT score... Why would you even consider ND? ND is not a great institution for academics relative to the rest of the nation, especially if you consider tuition.
