TAKING CONTROL is Lindsay's first video off her 2nd ALBUM titled TAKING CONTROL. This music video was shot by MOVING BILLBOARDS.
Taking control has a really strong message that everyone can relate to , we sometime loose focus of our goals and our own direction, and we all realise at some stage or another that it's time to TAKE CONTROL of our situation we're in and make it better for ourselves and others around us.
This music video is about a young girl who falls in love with a guy who influences her to his way of life, she ends up running away from home and school , leaving her parents devestated .
She gets swept away by this guy who leads her to a life of drugs , they are down and out ,no goals no values and no place to call home, his addiction leads them to the streets of johannesburg. Her life begins when his is sadly taken away by an overdose. She's had enough of this life. she then cleans up and goes to follow her dreams of being a big star.
She auditions for this band and makes it big , lives her dreams and shes TAKING CONTROL of her life !
Hopefully this will give power to those who are stuck in a rut of some sorts and it aids in a realistion that if you take control and believe you will succeed.
