On September 14, 2011, a group of wildlife professionals and dedicated volunteers came together in Burnett County to capture and band 13 trumpeter swan cygnets. The banding allows identification from a distance as these birds move throughout the country. This program is supported by the Wisconsin DNR in cooperation with many volunteers, all of which have the interest in this beautiful species surviving and thriving. This is a Steve Russell video.
What an adventure for all....including the birds. You all should take a bow, you deserve it.

Great video and scenery. Could not get over how docile the swans were. Again great job.
