One simple way to care for the environment is to take the profit out of abusing it. The simple and straight forward way to do that is to recognize that all land value, 100% of it, is created by the community as a whole and therefore rightfully belongs to the community. This can be practically accomplished by taxing community created land values more heavily while eliminating taxes on houses, and earned incomes from labor and real capital investment. No more land speculation or urban sprawl!

Hate to rain on everyones parade and i support earthshare's cause but this is a horrible commercial because the "pollution" they are "releasing" is water vapor coming from natural convection cooling towers. Im sure they can find video of actual pollution.
