A taste of the amazing SAMURAI, a failed TV pilot from 1978 about a San Francisco Japanese-American (played by Italian-American Joe Penny) who works as a lawyer by day, but by night he fights the criminals the law can't touch as a samurai vigilante who uses his samurai sword for everything except that which a samurai sword is intended.
This clip is taken from an ABC TV special about rejected television show pilots. Sadly, the clip fails to mention that truck he's seen driving contains the EARTHQUAKE MACHINE~! the evil corporate villain tried using to run an old man off his property.

@MrOphachew --I guess America and Americans where not ready for them at the time but today they are and have been ready for it.

I remember watching this when it was originally broadcast. I loved it back then and prayed for my own Katana to fight crime with. I never understood why with the action adventure, crime drama shows and series of the time this didn't caught on. This and The Last Ninja from 1983 starring Michael Beck. They are both two shows that need to be remade with extending episodes. They made episodes of John Sable and just a few years ago they made a short lived series about The Phantom. I guess

Eh... Might have worked as a comedy. :)
Otherwise, it's a bad rip-off of lawyer/superhero Daredevil from Marvel.
