power snatch
1x1 @ 150lb
2x2 @ 140lb

power clean/jerk
1x1 @ 185lb
1x2 @ 140lb

front squat
2x1 @ 230lb
1x2 @ 205lb

This was not a hard one, but that's good because monday the 12th.... ohhh boy it's going to be hard. crap.
will take video if possible

there was a powerlifting meet going on in the front of the gym too, took a little video of that as well

  • @rbt4rbt most certainly, quicktime is good for that. the arrow keys move if frame by frame and sometimes i'll use the kineova program but not very often. That one is freeware, very good program

  • @andyman820 I assume you play your lifts in slow motion, frame by frame? The video recorder has been a life saver for me when I am trying to figure out what I'm doing. I like to go frame by frame and see what the time is for a movement so I can analyze it all. Maybe that's because I'm boring to do such things.

    I want to see that 225 clean and jerk Monday. That's a lot.

  • @rbt4rbt thanks, i try to visualize but that has always gone south for me for some reason. instead, i just tell myself to get under it and stand up, then jump and get under it again and be faster than gravity overall, seems to work most times monday is: snatch 5x1 @ 180 2x1 @ 150 clean and jerk 1x1 @ 225 1x2 @ 185 front squat 5x1 @ 245 2x2 @ 215 basically hit the posted maxes ... over and over... this is going to hurt :)
  • Glad to see that clean and jerk at 185. Had me a little scared on the first one moving forward to get your balance. Hope you are picturing the lift in your head before you do it. Years ago that's what I did. Whatever you're doing on Monday, approach is safely. Great lifting!
