Another reason that you do see where these cases being prosecuted at the federal level involving some credit cards or a credit card number would be, I think, the increased use of the Internet, sales, purchases over the Internet. Not only would you have overall a larger ticket item than you would in the past, but you have the use of a "wire communication" that would give federal jurisdiction and other computer-type uses or Internet uses which also could give you a specific federal jurisdiction in addition just to the use of a credit card.
