@zetetic0void Yes,I have learned this recently too- the modern invention of the duality- and then even worse the repression of the dark side- calling it satan. And the schism in our modern world as a result. I have learned these things from Jung, and Joseph campbell and others. its been so amazing and makes so musch sense.

part 3 ... but in a way, the Abrahamic religions seem to me to be too strict in their 'borders'. They don't really see the Toaist Yin -Yang symbol as a flowing and it doesn't seem that they see how good things may flow out of the bad and bad things out of the good ...and how it all swirls together and how all supposed 'goods' and 'bads' are interdependant in their arising - like how a mountain has to have a sunny side and a shadow side. This is why I feel eastern philosophies are more accurate.
