From their 1971 album "In Hearing Of..."

Lyrics:

The Scared Are The Chosen Few,
Looking For The Times We Knew.
Colour Of The Day's Gone By,
Hang Your Head Up To The Sky.
The Sky,Your Head's In The Sky,
The Day's Going By.

Fight For The Nights You Had,
All The Good Take From The Bad.
Sign Up On The Dotted Line,
Payment For The Times You Died.
You Die,Your Head's In The Sky.
Your Head's In The Sky,
The Day's Going By.
Your Head's In The Sky.

The Scared Are The Chosen Few,
Looking For The Times We Knew.
Colour Of The Day's Gone By,
Hang Your Head Up To The Sky.
The Sky,Your Head's In The Sky.
The Day's Going By.

Your Head's In The Sky,
The Day's Going By.
Your Head's In The Sky,
The Day's Going By.
Your Head's In The Sky,
The Day's Going By.

  • como agradecerte por esta musica

    saludos

  • A tip of the hat to the great Vincent Crane, who I had the pleasure of seeing in 1969 in Toronto with The Crazy World of Arthur Brown

  • This drummer should get The Fancy Stopwatch Award. That's some damn good tapping.

  • @TumbrelJockey

French was also great with Leafhound (pre-Rooster), and later Cactus. Odd choice of replacement for Rusty Day though. Peter's solo LP "Ducks In Flight" was also great...featuring; Brian Robertson, Kenny Jones, Dave Markee, Mickey Moody, and Henry Spinnetti,

  • I still own the original UK vinyl 1st pressing of this LP on Pegasus Records - "Peg 1"...of all the subsequent pressings of this album; Elektra, Philips, Akarma, etc...this is by far the best sounding. If you're into vinyl, try to find a copy via eBay, or a reputable online vinyl dealer.

I also picked up the Repertoire CD reissue about 20 years ago. They did a pretty good job with the transfer, all things considered. But that original vinyl Pegasus pressing smokes 'em all :)

  • a little mary jane some atomic rooster and some JD cop a buzz and party till you puke and party some more this brings back the 70's for me i remember those years well sort of :-)

  • REMINDS ME OF 1973, THANKS FOR BRINGING BACK THOSE GOOD MEMORIES...
