Talking of 'ignorance', there is for long time been evidence of Noah's ark since the late 70s, it has been in documentary, and ofcourse on the internet there is many images and film footage to mount Ararat. Google the images using the appropriate key phrases. Noah's ark has been spoken of in many cultures as legends all in their own language. So has the tower of babel, most notebly from Sumerian culture. So has evidence of Sodom & Gommorah!
