I think the point that he should point out is that just because people plead guilty does not mean that they're guilty. You can be an innocent person but without a strong case because the government has framed you and if you plead not guilty, the sentences will be much longer. So instead of speaking the truth because they know they can't prove their innocence, they are willing to incriminate themselves falsely to reduce their potential jail time or financial penalties. This woman needs to die.
