Another PA. QB for 2010 who is very talented is 3* dual-option QB Anthony Gonzalez. He is very athletic and talented, and I think he would do well at Pitt, too. Hey, there is a chance that Pitt could get both. And, if Jones were the QB, since Gonzalez is an awesome athlete, I'm sure he could do great at multiple other positions

Well, Wanny definitely tries to recruit QBs. But I like to think that two big reasons Wanny hasn't gotten a consistent QB are:
1. Matt Cavanaugh, his ex-OC, didn't really play a part in recruiting.
2. No solid QBs wanted to play in Cav's conservative and often very predictable offense.
With Cignetti, I think all that will change.
Paul Jones, a QB who is a Penn State commitment, is thinking about switching to Pitt. If he goes to Pitt, he will be assured of a lot of playing time.

haha yeah. qb's are one thing wannt cant recruit. or he chooses not to recruit them. which is one reason i think baldwin wont be used very well

Absolutely! And, now he also has a new fine OC in Frank Cignetti. And, unlike Cavanaugh, Cignetti is going to play a big part in recruiting. I think that Pitts best seasons on the field and in recruiting are yet to come. And, I know that Cignetti will get some good QBs, which Pitt hasn't had in so long!

i feel like this guy will draw crowds. If wanny keeps recruiting the way he does pitt will be good in the future. and they havnt even unleashed johnny baldwin.

1. Dion Lewis is going to be a special player.
2. Considering that this wasn't a tough opponent, I was happy with the turnout at the game. And, assuming Pitt keeps winning 9 or more games almost every season, the crowds will get better.
