Day 3 of the SampleSimple Alesis ProTrack Review Series sponsored by MoogAudio. [ http://www.moogaudio.com ]

Day 3 was a magical music moment!

We decided to hit the streets and record street musicians and subway buskers. It was an amazing experience and inspired us in many ways. The guitarist in this video humbly asked that he not be mentioned in the video but wanted people to hear his sound.

The Alesis ProTrack is a portable stereo-quality recording accessory device for the Apple iPod and introduces amazing possibilities for Music Production Recording enthusiasts and Audio Technologists.

The great staff at MoogAudio [Toronto] sponsored SampleSimple with a fresh-solid ProTrack in which we attached an iPod Touch 2G to it.

Subscribe to and follow SampleSimple as we explore the ProTrack and put it to the test with our Apple iPod 2G and some of the top Music Production Recording apps for the Apple iPod.

Mission : Simply record and sample street musicans and buskers into the iPod using the Alesis ProTrack with the BIAS iPro Recorder.

  • @SampleSimple do you really have to be super close to the speaker to catch great sound ? or can u still catch great sound a little bit further away?

  • On my i-phone iprorecorder, I have changed to the stereo option in settings but when I check the new memo in item details, channels still says mono? How can I see it change to stereo?

  • Looks pretty sweet if the audio playing during the video was the actual audio recorded from the musicians
