There's one I use it only works with DVDs but it's called magic DVD riper and if you want to make a copy of your DVD instead of riping it there magic DVD Copier they both work great

@cemsengul16 Yeah, exactly what i was thinking!
I'm sure they have done it in the past, and probably still are!
But cause they are doing this show, they are covering themselves legally! ;p
It would be stupid if they owned up on air over the web that they rip movies!

@wayner5102421 I think you have to install a codec pack to be able to play MKV files in WMC

I ripped DVD's and imported them into Win Media Ctr no problem. However Blu Rays wouldn't work for me. It appeared the disc ripped, and it showed up on WMC. But when I went to play it, I would get an error. I tried a few - and same problem each time :-(
