that works great if your cousin is sitting in a field with a bird, in a crate, waiting for you and you dog to get there!
From my experience , pheaseant run like the wind and are very crafty at juking dogs!

I'm new to pointer training, but even I know when your dog is on "Whoa" command, he should'nt be sitting. Big No-No ! He looks like he's ready to lite up a cigarette.
