Detection dog training video of K-9 BSD behavior shaping device which uses a "active" remote controlled reinforcement. Creating true prey hunt drive in detector dog training by disconecting the handler/ trainer from the reinforcement.

The dog self learns action is at the odor source creating a conditioned responce to trained odor. Unmatched drive and focus for training alert and hunting behaviors. Effective with explosives, narcotics or cadaver detector dogs training.

Efficiency and accuracy in training by having the flexibility to reinforce behaviors in real work settings. Creating behavior generalization.

The K-9 BSD is currently in use with a wide variety of profesional dog trainers. To include 200 plus Police K-9 units, MWD Military Working Dog, US Border Patrol, US Capital Police, Department Homeland Security, Private Security, SAR Search and Rescue, IED, Mine, Bomb detection operations in 12 different countries around the world.

  • What is the remote device and where can I get one!!! Love it. Used to train detection dogs 20 years ago and what a wonderful addition to the training toolbox.

  • Very cool! That maenois is totally devoted-- look at his tail go!

I still haven't gotten my shih tzu x yorkie mutt to stop attacking the scent (trying to dig it out of hiding). Ahh well, she's only finding peppermint tea bags though, so I guess it doesn't matter. I really should upload a video of my fuzzy 8lb mutt working! LOL

  • Keep up the good video work looking good. When you have time come visit my channel!

  • Great work. do you think it is harder to train malinous to detect odours than spaniels. i train spaniels and there hyper drive and run around speed i find makes them easier to train.

  • Great video, love the directional searching at the end.
