Ian Dunbar was a big influence on my dog training career. Dr. Dunbar taught me that training does not have to be a battle between you and your dog. He was a big influence on me when I wrote "101 Ways To Improve Your Dog's Behavior." You can get the book FREE by clicking here: http://amazingdogtrainingman.com

  • "There is no single person on the face of the planet to whom dog trainers and owners (not to mention dogs) owe more."

Jean Donaldson, author, The Culture Clash

Amen!! Dunbar is the best!! I LOVE his words on that J&P so called "trainer" named Cesar!

Now that Victoria has come to America maybe people will see that his(dunbars) methods ARE THE BEST!!!One day my wish is too see him do a seminar.

  • I've had the opportunity to see Dr.Dunbar speak a number of times. He is an excellent speaker, very informative and educational.

  • eric thank you for your work you are a voice of reason in this dog eat dog world.

    great work

  • Thank you!

Althought thank goodness I did go see Patricia McConnell a few months back. She too is a MUST see!!In dog training one must never stop learning! Its the reason I get up in the morning")

  • i would love to see what ian has to say about ceasar milan. i think anybody that buys a puppy should have to read before and after getting your puppy by ian dunbar. my dog has diabetes so she cant have anything but her kibble at only certain times. does anybody have suggestions as to how to keep her busy? because she has already developed obsessive licking

  • @TayPooh

After watching ID speak I have to say I like his views. Since I also like CM I would like to see where he made a reference to him. Can you give me a link, please?

  • did you get your answer?

  • I think both of you are awesome!

  • Why do you have so much hate for cesar?+

  • cesar milan got his foot into the door for some dogs in need. i agree with some of his methods-teaching the importance of exercise, feeding after the run, being assertive and consistent. he's not all that bad. remember, at least he makes people feel they can work with their dogs and the dogs get some type of training, no matter if it's not accurate. it's better than a locked up dog in the house for the rest of it's life.

  • He is one of my major influences, too.
