  • No idea, unfortunately. But a great recording, yes!

  • A pleasure!

  • Probably the saddest music ever composed.

  • Great piece of music and use of it. It is lonely and haunting and beautiful as might be a mission in space to "Jupiter and Beyond." Kubrick's use of shots and angles of the ship, very elegant and schematic at the same time. Running in circles upside down and the glimpse of Dave rotating around in HAL's eye as the music plays, an amazing scene. I can watch this film a thousand times. It all reflects Kubrick's creative thinking and his clear respect for science and photography.

  • Great! how lonely and dark and inmense the universe looks with this Katkatchurian Adagio... what a vision to choose such a piece as it would not be obvious for many to choose a piece from the Gayne Ballet for such purpose.

  • Thanks for the unforgettable sequence, thanks for a very good sound!

  • @Seabirdinflight7 Search it in a page called Taringa!, I found it there.

  • Can anyone tell me where to get this old recording, by the Leningrad Symphony, in full? I've not heard one comparable.

  • Great melody, immortal...tahnks for posting.
