I was afraid of that I have been struggling to find a radio that fits that perfect in the back. All of the correct WW2 radios are to bulky for my liking I guess the average joe wouldn't know the difference though even I couldnt tell. Your GPW looks Amazing by the way I wish mine was finished it seems so far away.
Thank you

@estradalex thanks again. I figure if im going to spend all the time and money restoring one of these amazing beasts it would be drivin often but not too often tires for these things alone cost around $100 each.

sorry to keep asking questions but how does the parking brake work do you pull the handle or turn it?

Hello I'm in the middle of a 42 GPW restoration and I was curious what model of Radio and Antenna you have on your GPW? I want something similar if not the exact same model on mine.

@dustindrudge The radio is, AN/GRR-5 (Angry 5) as it's typically known. MS-116A, MS-117A, MS-118A mast sections and AB-15/GR antenna base.
You can usually find it as a kit.
Good Luck!

@dustindrudge Also, this radio was used in Viet nam, so it would not be correct for a WWII restoration.

Also is it possible to make one of these a daily driver?

@BBgunmaster67 You pull the e-brake handle to engage, turn-push in to dash to release.
You can drive it to commute short distances but they are not very safe in freeway conditions in a big city. They are expensive too, 6K for an unrestored but running condition.
