The Last Song I'm Wasting on You - Evanescence Cover

This is a song that my band teacher helped me to record on Tuesday. I recorded the piano first, the vocals second. Then he used one of those magical music editing programs (that I have yet to learn how to use) to make it sound better.

Sorry that it's such a quiet file! Feedback is muchly appreciated.

As to the 'better than the original' debate that seems to be happening... chill. :S I know that I'm nowhere near the level of Amy.

I have improved vastly since I recorded this, though. And I need to get off my lazy butt and record new things.

I don't know why people say things like it's better than the original. It's good, but she is not as good or sounds better than Amy Lee. That's such a rude thing to say in general about the actual artist that wrote and sang the song. Don't get me wrong, it is pretty but I wouldn't go that far.
