Have lived in Australia for 40 years & the only thing I miss (Fish & Chips excepted) are my Rovers, Saw them 1st last game of the record season (Chesterfield) and I was hooked, I even had my photo in the Evening paper as a lad painting the stand (I travelled from Sth Elmsall to do that!!) Whoo can ever forget that 4-3 win over Man City, where one of our gang, Titch really did get thrown into the air, above the crowd on the Hill, after the 4 th goal' RIP peter(the great) Doherty

I really don't apreciate the amount of stick Donny get. I'm 21 and have been watchin the Rovers sinse I was 4. This was fantastic football. If Arsenal did this it would have been all over sky and MOTD. We made one of the in form teams look like they had no ideas other than dirty challenges to stop us.
At the end of the day, all these bitter, jelous fans seem to forget that Donny gained promotion from the conference in 2003! 6 years ago! What have your teams done in 6 years?
