I have to say I felt sorry for Sam here. Sookie is such a hypocrit - very much "I don't want you, but I don't want anyone else to have you."

Perhaps she always thought Sam would be a good back up? She certainly came across as a real bitch in this clip - I'd have just slapped her! But good for Tara telling her straight.

It took me a while, but I realized that Tara was too damaged to accept love from anybody. If she'd been healthier spritiually/emotionally, then things might've worked out with her and Sam...
