the house looks great. I just wish you plan the house where you have a two car garage.

It looks great but also looks like you tore down the old house and buil a new one.
Being as you hired someone to do it just like most modern men who can't do anything except count money and complain it cost you an arm and a leg.
I am absolutely sure outside the architect and permit fees I can add a 2nd floor for less than $10,000 by doing it myself and that is no lie. 2 extra rooms and a full bath + stairs.
But dude, your money and as long as you can afford it..woops banks money until you pay

depends on where u live and the extent of the addition. Could be anywhere between $100 - $300 thousand.

This project cost about $300,000 including the interior finishing and furnishing, and it took 6 months from start to finish. We are very happy with it, and the turret over the garage has a high ceiling and it is my reading retreat and I love it.
