Church of St Miley Cyrus

A church is being built on Tybee Island as part of the Miley Cyrus movie, "The Last Song".

In the movie, the church burns down. Check out the construction process, its only took them 3 weeks to build.

Hollywood movie tricks... I pass the church every day... its repainted and ready to be moved to its new place

The church was actually burnt the very last night that they were on the island. They filmed it and everything, but they waited until the very end.

The Church is still standing, its been repainted and is going to be moved to the Tybee Lighthouse grounds

What was the name of the church in the book? I read the whole book, but i'm giving it to a friend to borrow.

it may be there, but i have seen the crew's pictures of it looking very much on fire. so in the movie it will be shown burning....no they could have been using flame tourches out the windows to look like it idk, but in the movie it is burnt.

As for the church, pity they didn't "accidentally" spark off on some of those ugly ass condos on the beach.

they werent actually aloud to burn it down, my grandma lives on tybee and told me, they just made it look burnt and for the scene they were supposed to only use smoke, but thats just what i was told, plus this was a while back and i went down there a week ago and the church didnt look burnt anymore like it used to, i thought it was pretty cool how they did it, but i think they are just gonna tear it down after filming is done.
