I prefer 4 stick way overpilot and "wobblesticks" cause of feel and speed and the Ls were a little quicker but the ms and ns are much smoother.

@CaseProvingGrounds I can almost agree for the most part. I run a 580 Super N 4stick, fully loaded, 4n'1, powershift s type, ride control, ehoe, etc. Very fast, good break out, smooth. It will knock the socks of a larger 430E cat. Deere is a tough competitor though. I still miss the L's sometimes but the N's are really top notch as far as power.

yes it is an extendahoe and i have alot of testing hours on the N models and they kick the crap out of cat and deere. Wait for the series 2 with the tier 4 we are almost done with even more breakout force and options.

@darensmiles4 It isn't an extend-a-hoe.
-
@Catmanchevy I'd guess the noise you hear is from the extend-a-hoe rattling around.

Bucket sounds pretty loose for a brand new machine, if im spending that kind of money i dont want to listen to the bucket rattle all day.

I run a 580Super N and would put it against a larger 430 Cat or 410 deere any day. Very powerful and fast.

Looks like some really hard dirt!

Case does a better job in backhoes, there is no question about that.
For a while there was the 3 stick and pedals that Case was fond of, but Ford had 4 sticks!
I am very happy with 2 joysticks, be it Case or Cat pattern.

Cat is just a marketing machine. Reminds me of Harley-Davidson and Chevrolet. They use marketing to make up for their shortfalls. Because of marketing, operators of these products see them as "superior", when in reality, they aren't. They are the market leaders in their industry because of marketing. Do you really think Chevy makes the best cars? HD the best cycles? Cat the best equipment? Nope! Cat is overpriced with high "resale value". Really? Go back 5 years and compare!
This is raw video shot by our senior editor at the N Series launch. The beta testers were on hand to demo, and we reviewed it in our October issue.
